The Last Seven Months

I guess I haven’t kept up to date here because, well, the world ended….

At least the world as it was ended. At the start of the year I had decided to launch this as a full time business. We (Kirin Rise Studios) were getting ready for the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) in March when all hell broke loose. Next thing I know I’m at home semi homeschooling while they are in virtual classrooms. My rhythm as an artist was completely upended.

I did get a handful of cool commissions done during this time and I’ll post them in separate entries. But the dust is settling and I’m back in the swing of things. So this post is just to say, “I’m back on the scene. And the Shogun is the Master!” Er, something like that.
